Just have another look the boar is a lot nearer the camera than the intrepid hunter, no doubt it was a big one but still no need to exaggerate it

He's standing beside it when it is hanging!!! The thing is a beast!!!!

As it impressive as it is, I wish for one we'd see a picture without the guy standing 2' behind it trying to make the dam thing look bigger.

Forced perspective on hunting photos is like a great American pastime.

In some of southern states there is a real problem with 'Hog's' which are basically the descendants of pigs that went feral having been brought over by European settlers. They cause a tremendous amount of crop and property destruction and can seriously impact indigenous wildlife. The pigs are omnivores so eat anything and everything. Extremely adaptable creatures that are also prodigious breeders and have few predators they are considered fair game by American hunters. This wouldn't have been a canned hunt but Americans are very fond of bait stations and high seats / hides.

Saw a program on Florida a while back where they are returning puma to the Everglades to reduce pig numbers as puma loves a baby piggie. Locals however very unhappy to find these quite big pussies in their back yards and have been shooting them. Pumas not dangerous to humans but they have picked off a few toy poodles. Great program.
