fulltimeshooter
Hi guys I have recently been looking at Semi's in the gunshops etc.... and have been trieing out a Remmington 1187 on loan from a gunshop but have found it to feel heavy and overall feels tacky to me, has anyone else got any ideas for a good lightweight Semi in the price bracket of about (£400) MANY THANKS, waiting in anticipation FTS. il cacciatore
You might be able to find a Beretta AL391 for that money which are very decent semi autos. What do you mean "feels tacky"? A Beretta isn't heavy with walnut furniture.

JRDS
Have a hunt for a sh Benelli, lighter than a Beretta, better made and easier to clean. (and I have had 3 x Beretta semi's including a 391, now own a Benelli Mancino) There are 4 on Guntrader inside your budget including an M1 90 in cammo finish. wacker
Have a hunt for a sh Benelli, lighter than a Beretta, better made and easier to clean. (and I have had 3 x Beretta semi's including a 391, now own a Benelli Mancino) There are 4 on Guntrader inside your budget including an M1 90 in cammo finish. Agreed a Benelli is truly a well made gun. I agree also - i have owned one of these and use it for clays & pigeons - plus they make it as a true lefty! Has anyone seen the new Remington 105cti which loads and ejects out of the bottom. It's on the back of Sporting gun.
caplock
Beretta 302-303 best guns that they made IMO, in Berettas quality heyday before plastic and accountants got hold of the design.
tomo1
beretta a303 are great and much lighter than say a remington 1187! so happened to see one in buy, sell, swap for £

kiwi
franchis are good guns , have seen the remington 2 of my gun shops have them nice looking gun i would wate and see how the falts if any in them pan out totel new gun and all, from remington the four end looks like a remingtons, to me they look nice the stock is good to the eye , they are lite, the rubber butt pad is a bit like the new inrta franchis , even the yanks are siting back on this one , to see if it will work
Big Al
Have owned a few different semi's. Beretta and Benelli are the big boys. The real mccoy. If you are looking for cheap and cheerful, Escort is good, so is Baikal MP153. What can I say? It is a Baikal, you can't break it and it doesn't mal-function! And you can use it to beat in fence posts on days in between!
weejohn
Only owned the al391 and a mossberg and i would say the al391 are great guns.
