miffy
Went out after a few rabbits tonight and ended up with 17. All shot with the .17hmr ranges from 20 yards to just over 100 yards Saw a couple of foxes as well, finished the night quite late but had a good time. Saw the first fox less than 30 seconds after getting set up.... it was lying down in the middle of a field at about 10 yard away, 2nd fox was a nightmare to shoot it wouldn't play the game and kept moving just as i was about to get the shot off. When it did present itself for a shot i was aware of workmen in the distance resurfacing the road Big dog fox shot first and 2nd fox was a vixen

Dougy
Went out with dougy last night and got a Fox come on Ive bit more story Sat in this field for about 10/15 mins calling for charlie: call , wait for few mins call again quick lamp no sighn keep calling then after a while decided to move on so Ive goes for the gun bag while i have a quick lamp round from the nearby hedge to the bottom of the field and i spot charlie trotting down the hedge line just head and shoulders visible due to a shallow ditch. gave Ive a nudge and a "Oi" wispered "fox quick" ccus Ive couldnt quite see from his angle he thought it was a pussy any way after checking in the "what does a fox look like" book,,,, well it died shortly after from a good chest shot.. well done Ive then after we both went for a walk in the mud round the back of the farm !!! Lovely and deep
