brook
Hi I'm in the norfolk area swanton morley and I'm looking for permission to shoot on land once or twice weekly I am very respectful of the countryside so there are no worries of land been ruined or crops damaged. If you need some pest control just get intouch Thanks liam

kyska
Get out and knock on some farmhouse doors! Yep, the only way Liam, get your boots on and go and ask, winter is coming, most of my pigeon shooters become elusive. Good luck!
walshie
Don't expect there to be a mad rush of shooters offering you their hard earned land. Door knocikng is the ONLY way you'll get permission.

Wilts#Dave
You'll unlikely get farmers contacting you to shoot their pigeons I'm afraid, as others have said time to get out there and ask. Wanting to go twice a a week on a regular basis is a bit much in my opinion, you don't want to make a nuisance of yourself.

countryside lass
The land round Swanton Morley is all game shooting and professionally keepered so highly unlikely that you will be offered anything during the shoot season and we already have a full quota of pigeon shooters so unfortunately no opportunities with us. As the other PW'ers have advised, you need to start with knocking on doors and making formal introductions. Maybe offer your services for some beating and see if this opens a door with anyone. It goes without saying that there should be no fear of any damage to crops or countryside - I would also suggest that you also need to be telling people that you have full insurance (and if you haven't, then this should be the first thing to sort out before asking anyone if they will let you on their land). Best of luck. CL.

Full Pelt
Liam, there are plently of small private bits of land near you that are not shot, just driving around looking at the numbers of rabbits is the giveaway, go look and good luck, there's enough to do beneath the level of interest of the Saturday game shooters.
