Steppenwolf
I honestly can't seem to remember anything more useless than a "gun buyback scheme".
fieldwanderer
I thought you could always take guns to the police to dispose of them? I've taken a knackered .22rf to them and my shooting buddy took what was left of a baikel 12bore after it decided to fire both barrels as he broke it (that was quite a bruise!). Rimfireboy
If someone wants to get rid of air guns why would they want to take them to the police station? They can just take them to the gunshop and get a few quid for them. They show them on the news as getting firearms off the streets and most of them are air guns by the look of it. Paul223
I really don't know why any licence holder would want to hand any legal gun into the police, the stats raised by doing so can only be used against us! Take em to an RFD
aris
Herts are having one too! Yup - got an e-mail from the neighbourhood watch - Herts are doing an amnesty. I suppose it may well prompt someone who has granddads firearm in the loft want to dispose of it with no questions asked.
