ed5hed
I recently purchased a Nikko sterling gameking but im not 100% happy with it does anybody have any experience of MTC Optics?
bear-uk
Depends what you want from them. I have the Mamba lite on the air rifle and the Mamba on my .22. Both work well enough for what they are used for. Also the side focus is a must for the add on night vision.

markfromholland
I have mtc viper 4-16x50, i bought it new in box nice glass, clean reticle But, when adjusting the parallax knob, i can see a shift in the reticle/point of aim. It seems like there is some minor play in the inner tube. At first i thought it was the gun moving, then i took the scope of the gun and made the adjustment while holding the scope on its rings on a table, and indeed there is shift of point of aim. theosmith
They not so good under a lamp and go milky....The mamba and viper certainly do, never seen the taipan or genesis to comment. There are better scope out there in the price range such as hawke sidewinders
mick miller
No milkyness on the Genesis, don't have any problems lamping with any of mine. The Genesis are made in a completely different place to all the others.
maxwell
I have used the viper and taipan 4-16x50 on guns from my Rapid up to my .204" out to 500yrds + they are good scopes for the money and fantastic for add on NV because of the lack of SPECIAL coatings, the SCB ret is very useful for rimfire, plus great people at MTC with good service Maxi
Cambsman
I have a Mamba and a Genesis. Happy with both. They are what they are. Good value. Would not expect the ultimate last light performance but what the heck. Never felt deprived. And yes, I do have other more expensive stuff for comparison. remmy1100
+1 for genesis excellent scope.
welshwarrior
I think they are marmite scopes I had a mamba and quite liked it but used it mostly for day time shoots from the car window at bunnies on a 22. It was not the best under the lamp but could be used quite happily and the lower end of the mag settings.
