team tractor
Let me start from the beginning . I get two days a month to shoot if I'm lucky so today I drove up the farm looking for pigeons. After scanning the area I noticed a fox in the same place I've seen him four times now. Well I went home and got the 223 , called in to the farmer and he said no ones about so carry on. Well I'm sat at the top of the field watching my corner through my scope when a lurched ran passed so I got my binoculars out and walked down there ( 300 yards) to be greeted my the next door farmers son walking round with his shotgun and his son . I told him I'd been waiting for the fox and the farmer said no one should be here. He replied " I never tell him and why would I but we will be gone in an hour so you'll have to wait" He hasn't even got a sgc Always the same :( So now I'm worried about shooting there at all using rifles. team tractor
I know of two places he's not allowed anymore as the police was called to the one after he didn't tell them he was lamping.
Fisheruk
I find a spot of zeroing seems to ram the message home when dog walkers stray from the footpath. Obviously a safe shot with a good backstop. Might even take the moderator of to emphasis the point.

Have a word with your farmer first and if ok make it 3, cheeky ***
jimmyb79
Unless he's under supervision of an SGC holder who's gun he is borrowing, he's breaking the law. I'd speak to the farmer and see if he'll have a word...failing that, I'd be speaking to the police.
Guest cookoff013
I once went pigeon shooting on one of the coldest days a few years ago. Very icy and cold. Farmer said to watch out his son is there. I go for a quick look see. I approach the hide and I see these 2 guys huddled together cuddling each for warmth. I ask if they are OK?. "No mate, freezing" they had camo t-shirts on. That was it. They were frozen. I ran back to the hide because they needed hot drinks. I gave them all my food and hot coffee. "How long you been out?" "What time is it?" "Oh about 5hours" ? -point is. People are idiots.
mossy835
i was out shooting on saturday, walked down the side of a field and there was a dog walker, stood by a gate only till i got there you would not know he was there, and he was off the foot path. team tractor
The main problem here is they're all mates from school so i don't want to fall out but he wouldn't listen when I said it's my backstop. We don't have footpaths around here really so I don't look out for walkers plus it's surrounded by ditches so hard to gain access. . People annoy me poaching and this is not the first time
Dougy
You didn't shoot the fox then, I see why you need to rant. I think I would have done what fisheruk suggested.
welshwarrior
A quick test shot into a good safe back stop often wakes up the special people like these.
