popa bear
Hi guys can anybody shed light on birds I am seeing more and more of recently in with the flocks of wood pigeons?.The birds in question looks the same as a wood pigeon only about 2/3rds of the size of a woodie same colouration but without the white bars on wings or neck.No black bars on tail or wings unlike rock doves. They are adult birds and not jueviniles and as I say they flock in with the wood pigeons are they hybrids .Anybody got any ideas or have also come across these birds or are they only in the Midlands area
sitsinhedges
Probably ferals pigeons from escapee racing stock, same as you see in town.
popa bear
Okay but surely if they were ferals they would differ in colour and markings these birds are uniformed like a specific breed?
