Leatherman Wave

I did just the same, took a chunk out the flat blade driver. Sent it back to have a new part put in. It came back a few days later. As the tool was discontinued it was all upgraded.

A leatherman gets used with anger. Swiss army feels like it will brake if used for any more than opening letters or trimming finger nails

Sadly carrying a leatherman wave in a public place without good reason is an offence simply because the blades lock. To and from a shoot would seem to be ok but leave it in your car because you forgot it was there and one could be in trouble. It is seemingly ok if it's a tool for your trade and you're at work etc. but if you popped into Tesco's or the pub on the way home and were wearing it then again there is no good reason so an offence. Even the simple little opinel is a no no because when turning the collar it becomes a lock knife.

The price we pay because of the activities of scrotes!!

Does'nt that depend on the length of the blade?

Sorry Shaun but if it locks or is fixed then you will get in trouble.

Blades of less then 3 inch in a folding style is fine

The Swiss multi card, with the 1 inch blabe, still illegal

Daft really as I can carry a rifle, or shotgun, in its case and go to local shop but the knife has to be in the boot of car.
