decroyffe
If it were me, assuming I had another set of wheels I would be out looking for it.. had a drive for an hour but no joy, i'm 500 yards from the M1 so i'm guessing there gone. two jeeps where seen yesterday smooching around, plus a simular jeep came by the house two days ago (i live on a private road) they've been in the night for sure, the disklock turned them around so they've come at 19.30 in the evening knowing i wont have locked it down for the night it seems a bit of time been put into this one, pay day for some thiveing ****, excuse my french
SNAKEBITE
If it were me, assuming I had another set of wheels I would be out looking for it.. I don't think they are going to park it just down the road under a tarp! If you do find it in the local industrial estate it is either going to be on fire or on bricks, better hope that it is picked up later in one piece. Sorry to hear about all your gear though, that is what makes it worse, the personnal stuff.

al4x
Unlucky mate odds are it'll be ****** after something to drive accross peoples land running dogs on hares. I'd not expect to see it again but that in a way is probably a good thing as you know how it will have been treated. I don't bother with a disclock on my fourtrak or alarm and touch wood I've been ok so far my views are if they want it they'll take it. Then they'll swap the plates and thats that the plod will never locate it. Best option for theft prevention is keep it as muddy as possible! LEFTY478
Sorry to hear about that. When you do replace it, remember that the t***s are (do as you ) likely to come back for second 'sniff'. Try removing the HT lead - from the distributor cap to the coil, or the rotor arm if you have one. Also, worth investing in a 'tracker' device from £299 HERE. SNAKEBITE
Good advice Lefty478! I remember on my old boyed up Sierra about 15 years ago I used to have a switch from the coil wire(not the H.T. lead!) that went into the "cabin". When I left it parked i used to flick the switch and bingo the car wouldn't start. Cheapest antitheft device ever. I left it parked in Brighton, flicked the switch, removed the coil lead and the longest HT lead and the ******* still tried to drive off in it. They got the autolok on the handbrake moved so they could turn the engine over (it was in 3rd gear) but not go anywhere. It cost more in damage to the steering lock than anything they could take! digger
Sorry to hear bout your wheels and gear. Report it stolen with cartridges in the back ( wont impact on yr licence ) and add the fact they targeted you because you have shotguns. Put the onus on the local police and hassle them to make sure the scum are put on the uk data base as having stolen your motor

decroyffe
Thanks everyone. having a right headache trying to sort things out. got all the invoice's now for work carried out on the fourtrak (£1100) in total. courtasy car sorted, got invoice's for all goods bought off ebay and my local dealer (shooting gear). got intouch with the kid who i bought my tyres from, he's happy to confirm that sale in writing. one problem, cant find for the invoice for my lintran transit box, if anyone has a invoice but no longer has the box please send it this way, or i'll get ****** all back. i've done the figures and i'm set to lose about £1500, with the work done i had to run the jeep for a good two years to make it pay
