pigeon controller
Well done great result . When I saw the picture I thought you had been shooting clover, but the presentation was very good.

JDog
Very good going. It is interesting to read of continued good bags on rape while there are drillings about.

JDog
Very well done. Were they still coming to the field when you packed up? Good question. If they were I would have stayed for the other 3 wouldn't you?
russdy
They was still coming to the field. I didn't know how many was in the bag to be honest had an idea it was up around the 90-100 mark but wasn't 100% sure. I did shoot a few more that I went to look for with the dogs later on that took the bag to the 100+ mark. Would have been nice to have a 100 in the picture though Edited March 13, 2015 by russdy
JDog
A hundred is a hundred whether they are all in the picture or not. Good for you.
kippylawkid
Yes great day that. Only the main man has been getting ton plus on the rape. You're in exalted company!
Tedly47
Great shooting can only dream of bags like that at the moment in North Wales .. Tedly
fortune
Very good going. It is interesting to read of continued good bags on rape while there are drillings about. There are no drillings of any sort around here yet. what is being put in where you are? The soil is too wet and it is still to cold, but in a couple of weeks I hope to see some. I am keeping a lookout for any sign of planting but nothing yet. The ones that we shot last weekend had all been on the rape.
maxwell
Excellent result, well done. I had a protect and serve day last Saturday on the OSR for a grand total of 14, most of the birds were still in flocks with the odd one by itself
