norfolk dumpling
Norwich Southern Bypass (A47) has one of the densest concentrations of these in the countryside I would suggest. It really saddens me how many I see as I do my daily drive along this road. It's been open for 23 years now sothe trees are substantial now and during the winter you can see dozens of nests - drive by shooting?? Bemused
Could it just be one pair that was raiding my eggs? I got another one last night and we've had no eggs pinched today

deputy dog
Big increase in numbers my way this past couple of years. Been thinning them out last month or so while their trying to raid my old mans chicken coup. But i shoot two and its like 3 turn up to the funeral so to say. The Wolverine B FAC don't take no prisoners though and knocks the stuffing out of them with out mercy and will continue to do so as long as they keep coming in. :good:
Uncle Albert
Years ago you would be lucky to see a couple at the most in your garden. Nowadays however you see 7 or 8 at a time. Robbing little pirates. It's no wonder the song bird population is dwindling.

I got two in my larsen this morning, mate found one of his goose egs in his cow shed.. 700 ft away from the geese, they never venture to shed... I took it and put it in trap last night, woke up to a full trap.

ShootingEgg
Make that 4 in one day, 3 trapped one shot with air rifle whilst it thought about going in trap. Few more to go then relocate trap to a mates for a bit.
