Old farrier
Nigel only just seen this post and will follow with interest Maybe post a few pic's of the cock ups so us mere mortals no your human to Lol What including cutting all the frames twice 😧 and spending 3 hours fixing a plank on one side then 12 hours taking it off and refitting it cos it looked wrong not to mention Glueing my jeans to my leg having to cut them off and finding I'd glued £40 aswell 😂 Other than that and a few small glitches its been plain sailing All the best Of
Old farrier
Just to show the flare on the punt complicating the angles you have to plane on the edges
Old farrier
One for magman The gap shouldn't be there Had the angle a bit wrong so had to turn it over and plane 80 feet of timber to get it right 😊 The strips over the plank joints on the floor with the new frames fitted Edited June 23, 2015 by Old farrier

grrclark
The work done so far looks excellent OF. I know this is preaching to the converted a little, but the satisfaction of making something that is outside your comfort zone, watching how it comes together into a functional and attractive item that you can be rightly proud of is great. That includes all the setbacks and mistakes and head scratching moments as it is only because of these things you really learn. If it was easy and error free it would be no fun
