team tractor
I have a urge to by an old 2 stroke as I've been bike less for 4 years now and would really like an Honda mtx200 but the prices are mental £3000 for a 20 year old two stroke Yamaha tdr 250's are £5/6k When did this happen :( I only want a project bike for the winter . I covered 4000 miles on my ktm in 7 years so I'm a low mileage man
Paul223
I bought a tdr250 earlier this year, all complete but in need of a basic restore for not so bad money... Keep looking!

After 7 years of racing and riding most weekends and breaking 5 bones ( one accident ) and stretchered off with what was thought a broken hip I know I'll never walk right so want a gentle bike to ride Edited July 19, 2015 by team tractor

Carman06
TZR 125s and RS125s are much more reasonable. There are lots of import ones too.

I'd love a big 2 stoke as I'm 15+ stone plus had a full licence 15 years+ so cheap to insure.
rodp
Why not look at something with character like a bantam, James, Excelsior etc ? Good to look at and nice to potter around on a Sunday morning.

Ricko
I have few regrets but getting rid of my CANAM Qualifier enduro bike is one of them.
stumfelter
I love restoring and riding old strokers but unfortunately the days when you could buy basket cases for £100 are long gone. I've restored, ridden and sold a ts 100, Suzuki x7, rd 400, ty175 and a fs1e that I sold last year for £1400 which is 4 times more than they were new! I'm currently restoring a dt175 twinshock and would love to restore an lc but they're big money.

There's a cracking video of a H2 drag I'll see if I can find it Edited July 19, 2015 by Paul223

Livefast123
I bought a 1993 Honda NSR125 RR back when I was allowed to own motorcycles........ as I had always loved the smell of 2 stroke in the morning.....Motul fully synthetic to be precise Even though I had a commuter at the time I would prefer to take the NSR as it was so much more fun and starting on choke in the morning probably woke the neighborhood. It was a full power italian import and went really well, especially after I had rebuilt it and had the pleasure of paying Honda £50 for a thermostat She was almost perfect for an '93 Then children came along and the little commuting snow accident and bikes were banned from the Livefast household........now all I have is the computer pics :-( . I sold her in 2011 and now see that she is uninsured and off the road......RIP L203 RAR God please gift me any 250 stroker or if you are feeling generous an RG500!
