fatchap
Can anyone point me in the direction of a good site where I can get a leather sheath made for a 10" bowie knife I am making? I have just this morning ruined a 3rd kit I bought online and have decided to call it a day on the idea and just get a completed one. I want it a bit fancy, dark brown with imprinted markings on it. Anyone help?

Totally agree with the above. Mel's wife Lin, made something for me, after I sent her the templates. I believe she recently made a sheath for someone on her. saddler
You've ruined three kits? What have you been doing to them to ruin them?

mel b3
thankyou for the votes of confidence for mrs melb3 guys , unfortunately , knife sheaths arent really her thing , she uses soft leathers and whilst she could make something that was very functional and brilliant value for money from it , it wouldnt be very decorative. i believe that saddler above makes things from saddlery leather , that would be much more suitable for a decorative knife sheath .
