Stonepark
If alloy is mainly aluminum, anodising is the best solution, not especially difficult if you are happy to strip gun apart ( or get gunsmith to do it) but cannot guarantee what colour shade it will turn out. Alternatively, plenty of small aluminum parts manufacturers will do it for you.

bruno22rf
I think that gently heating the action in a mix of water and caustic soda will grey the metal but you would need to strip the action out and do some research first-ask demonwolf444 for advice-not much he doesn't know about making guns better. wisdom
Surely any drastic chemical treatments will make the gun lose a lot of resale value.you need a temporary coating that may need retreating occasionally.what about vinyl wrapping.Or as mentioned boot polish
figgy
Sell it and buy a gun in a colour your happy with. Older Yildiz guns did have a black action. I think anything you do to it will ruin it. Buy a colour case hardened gun if you like them darker..
