James1983
Thought would start a thread where i can post pictures i have taken whilst out and about. Not managed to get out with the camera much recently but going to make a real effort to and hopefully this thread will help encourage me. Might even take it clay shooting next time and see what i can capture. Anyway these are a few of my pictures i just found on the macbook whilst looking for some of my dog to make a calendar. These were all taken with my old Canon 600d which has since been upgraded and i now own a 6D and 7D with L lenses so will get them out and see what i can capture. _MG_7087 by james Mee, on Flickr _MG_5997 by james Mee, on Flickr _MG_5482 by james Mee, on Flickr _MG_5453 by james Mee, on Flickr _MG_5452 by james Mee, on Flickr

Danger-Mouse
I agree, it could be a caption competition photo...... "todays lesson will be Ephesians chapter 4, verse 7" I would go for "Alas poor Yorik..." or maybe "To be or not to be, that is the question" Great photo James. James1983
The top 3 are 70-200 f4 L and on the 7D 4th one is 24-105 f4 L and the last one is on my little trusty 50mm f1.
WinchesterDave
I have the 70-200 f4 L and the 50mm 1.8. My girlfriend uses the 24-105 f4 L I enjoy using them all and you have defiantly managed to capture clean, crisp shots with them do you apply any post processing? I do a little on my images on the photoshop app Edited October 26, 2015 by WinchesterDave
James1983
Yeah I do a little bit of work on Lightroom if it's needed. I have both photoshop and Lightroom on my MacBook. When you get used to it you can do pretty much anything and everything with them

James1983
Yeah the 7d is a fantastic camera and more than capable. I seem to favour my 6d though and that's normally the one I pull out the camera bag first. Thanks for the comments been trying to think of a few shoot ideas recently so will see what I can come up with over the next month.... rodp
Some good pics there I still use my trusty old 20D, and it's still better than I am Keep looking at the 70D, or is it 80D (I lose track nowadays) but in all honesty I can't see a new one making much difference. WinchesterDave
I know nothing about the 20d sorry mate. it's a 20.2 mp sensor, dual pixel phase detection auto focus for fast live view focusing, touch screen, decent auto focus system, built in WiFi. All specs are on Canon website though

WinchesterDave
Hmm, I know, just been looking. You're a evil man causing me to be tempted  Haha! I do apologise it's a great camera and they've dropped so much in price now body only; I bought mine for 750 beginning of the year, they're now 450-500 I think. Look at Simply electronics, they're the cheapest on the Web bought a few stuff from there and my girlfriend got a 7dmk2 for 850 quid brand new. Olliesims
I see simply electronics deal in gray imports? I'm looking for a new lens and its £269 on there while its £399 on Amazon, do they do a warranty at all and accept returns?
Fuji Shooter
Some of the importers offer their own warranty but its normally return to then and its usually 12months instead of 3 years. DigitalRev is an example of this. Buying lenses is a bit of nightmare as you do get a few bad copies of some lenses before you get a tack sharp one.
