roadkill
I would like to print off maps of each drive on our shoot, google maps is great but can you print from it?
shoot and be safe
Copy the map onto a "paint" type programme, then you can edit and add whatever you like. Hope this helps.

rimfire4969
http://gridreferencefinder.com/ I always use this, has measuring tool also. The only problem with this one is it does not show field boundaries. Unless I am doing something wrong. Edit: got it by clicking on the satellite tab at the top. Looks the same view as Google earth with a few advantages. Thanks for the link. Alex C
I have done the same, then laminated them and keep a wipe clean felt pen with them. We can then draw on them to show the guns and beaters where they should be.

shoot and be safe
you can use permeant felt pens on the laminate so it don't rub off or wash off in the rain , and then use nail polish remover pads or spray an non anti perspirant deodorant on it and it will then wipe offJust a normal pencil rubber will also rub permanent marker of laminate
stuey
I just used google maps and photoshop. Zoomed in on the different areas of the shoot on google maps and then pasted them all together to make a big image of the shoot, and then did separate images of the drives too. Alycidon
Try this, http://greenshoots.basc.org.uk What concerns me about that scheme is making your shoot known. Once the authorities are aware then there is a potential for a rateable value on the sporting rights to consider, there is also always an issue with antis hacking into the BASC system and thus learning the location. cpaulc
True about the asntyius, I had a scasn through some of their Facebook pages a while back and they really seem happy enough trespassing to disrupt a perfectly legal farm shoot. Google earth or Bing maps satellite, print screen okntyonword or Photoshop to add the pegs and beater/stop positions
