Vhitavouri for a .222 ?

Recommended Posts

I use Viht N133, and N135 in my .223 Rem, due to getting fed-up with the poor supply of Hodgdon's.

Sub .5" 4 shot groups at 100 yards, with N133 and 52 A-max. And consistent sub .5" groups with N135, with 55 V-Max. My best group being .2" with 4 shots. It was a perfect day mind.....

Never have an issue with supply, and in my case it works out cheaper than the Hodgdon's I used...

Have fun!

I would go as far as to say that N130 is THE powder for the 222.

I have used a lot of it in the 222, with 40, 50, 52 and 55 grain bullets.

That is a shame,,,,, I've loads of N140

don't discount it

A .222 aficionado once told me he uses N140 exclusively

"fill the case and seat a bullet"

its slow enough to be perfectly possibly

some of my lighter 40-50gr rounds are all compressed loads with N133
