Beagle boy
I'm a Baikel fan personally. But try going to few shops and see what fits. You'd get a decent 2nd gun for that money.

mikee
It doesnt really matter as long as its not junk, the main consideration should be gun fit, if it dont fit you cant shoot it properly Mikee

subsonicnat
As said, get decent Lanber, for that money.. Don't go for Rizzini E, well out of date and no spares available either.. Take your TIME,, The RIGHT Gun Will turn up, make sure it feels right, take somebody who knows shotguns, for good advice, we have all been there.. Why not a rizzini?I sell loads of them and rarely have issues? Certainly no more than other makes. What spares can't you get? But in response to the op, get something that fits you. Plenty of decent guns around for 500 and we'll under that. I know people will say buy the best that you can afford but if you buy cheap secondhand stuff it genrally won't deprecate by much and that gives you more chance to chop and change should you so wish. I sell cheap stuff to people who bring it back a few months later if they fancy a change and they pretty much get their money back. eddoakley
Sorry,, I did say RIZZINI (E).<<<<<< Yeah I got that. I probably have 4 or 5 in the cabinet at the moment and rate them as highly as plenty of other cheap guns. Haven't had to find many spares for the ones that I have sold but if I have had to it hasn't been a huge task. Do you have one that's broken? subsonicnat
Do you have one that's broken? No lol, Sold it before it did break, Reason,,, no spares available, and bought Lanbers.. Now if I had one of his daughters latest guns, I would buy tomorrow.. Cracking lookers too.
Lord Geordie
Rizzini E aren't too bad! I find the pins may bur and stick, and eventually the cam on the bottom of the lever, which operates the lock wears out! All repairable though as I have done them myself.
