norwood2015
Hi I'm new shooter and after some advice please. I've just got my shotgun and will be looking to buy one shortly, I've shot with a right handed gun and had the cartridges eject to the right. Will a left handed shotgun eject the cartridges to the left or will they still eject from the right? Thanks in advance, Paul. Sorry, should of said I've just got my shotgun license. norwood2015
Do you mean a semi auto shotgun or would an over and under eject to the left?

motty
I find it quite strange that someone who has managed to obtain an sgc doesn't know how an O/U ejects.
walshie
If the ops gun had cartridges eject to the right, it must have been a semi. Why would he ask what way an o/u ejects? Yes a left handed semi will eject to the left,

Scully
A left-handed 11-87 I bought for a friend ejected to the left; that is the whole point of having a left handed auto.
snow white
He doesn't mention a semi at all in his question just says gun.
Scully
He doesn't mention a semi at all in his question just says gun. Bearing in mind that it is only logical that an OU will eject in the direction you point the breech when it is opened, and that includes up or down as well as left or right, if this is a serious question regarding an OU, then it just goes to show that there are even exceptions to the rule of 'there is no such thing as a stupid question'. I think most of us are assuming the OP isn't stupid and is referring to an auto. Have just noticed post number 3!
