sitsinhedges
I need a new set of bins for pigeon spotting. I've been using a cheap pair of Simmons Redline 10x50 a friend kindly brought me back from America some years ago. They've been remarkably good actually with decent clarity but they tend to suffer from fogging a lot now and the prisms are pretty dirty so what would you suggest to replace them other than another pair of the same. They tend to live in my van so don't want to spend a fortune on something that might get nicked. Suggestions please for, say, 10x40 or 10x50. up to maybe £100 or so? dazb1967
Vortex Diamondbacks, excellent for the money, bit dearer than your £100 but they are good optics

Exudate
I have a pair of 8x42 Meopta MeoPro. Very good indeed! Worth paying a bit more for a pair, whatever you get, since they'll last longer and the optical quality will make them a pleasure to use. Looked through a pair of Nikon Monarch 5 10x42 bins this weekend, and was also impressed.

mudpatten
In the past I`ve had my bino`s stripped, realigned, cleaned and re gassed for not a lot of money. There are lots of bino repairers advertised on Google.
