kshooter
Been considering doing barrels on a gun with perma blue but read mixed results, anyone ever tried it or just better getting it done properly?
kshooter
Must add this is not a touch up the barrels are bare metal nearly
kennett
Get it done by Dan, barrelblacker on here. Got my barrels back a few weeks ago and the work is faultless. And for £90 it is unbelievable value
Grazy
Give Daf from this forum a call. He did mine along with the woodwork and it looks amazing. He is under welshwarrior
Dougy
Not sure where you are but midcountiesblacking in Litchfield did the action on my Sako S491 and the finish is like black glass, absolutely brilliant and will cost about £90.00. Gordon R
Dan or welshwarrior - you can't go wrong. Their work is faultless and very, very reasonably priced. I did a side by side - from scratch. I made a little jig to hold the barrels - degreased them properly and took time to refinish them. They looked pretty good - obviously not up to professional standards. The snag was wear and tear - the finish doesn't stand up to much usage at all.
