phaedra1106
As above, no legal requirement to notify them, security is your responsibility so as long as you're satisfied the new cabinet is fitted correctly you're good to go

ShootingEgg
Do they not need to inspect it like they do when u first get a licence?
Puggers
As a courtesy, I let my local firearms team know and offered them the chance to look at it. They didn't acknowledge the email or come round but at least I can't be told I should have let them know but didn't.

Canis
When i did change mine i informed the FEO of my intention and invited him to inspect if he wanted to. Predictably he was happy without inspecting it, but as suggested tell them first and they can't complain later.

Westward
Since you live in the Soviet Socialist Republic of Scotland it probably makes sense to avoid any risk of getting on the wrong side of the police.
novice cushie shooter
So i thought i would keep myself right and gave l&b police a call to inform them that I would be moving my cabinet. Turns out they would like to have a look once im done.

Benthejockey
Not really as i just got an email from a totally different region to me saying i havent notified them of my change of address......i haven't even moved house!! Congrats on the new house 🙈 At least you can get hold of your lot! Even if they're making stuff up as they go! I've been chasing mine for months now trying to get organised to open my cert completely. Unfortunately I moved from dyfed Powys to west Mercia. Dyfed Powys were brilliant west Mercia are like a ghost ship!
