toontastic
Perhaps the shooting organisations could match the RSPB reward as it will send out the message that lawful shooters are also disgusted by the actions of some idiot. ShootingEgg
Unreal... Im not far from the levels, why would someone even want to shoot the cranes. Then just leave it to be found... Flipside though... Report says only 4 bb's (presume shotgun used) found in body, potential stray pellets from wildfowling or game/pest control shot?? It's easy to point finger and say it was deliberate. Again this is just assumption so please dont shoot me down (pun not intended) Edited October 19, 2016 by ShootingEgg

Whitebridges
What a moronic thing to do. It's very unlikely but I hope they catch the Baboon who did this.

Yep, the first think that came to mind when I saw the news. I think there's a very senior 'official' with one well known association that might have an input here. David BASC
Unbelievable act of illegal stupidity. We do a lot of work on the Levels as its a key conservation area, I would be willing to be to fool that did this is not a regular shooter or a member of an organisation. old man
Have no trust in the RSPB, smoke, mirrors and diversions are their stock in trade when evidence is short. Would be good to have an independent Vet verify the cause. If true however, will willingly add a tenner to the fund.
