digger
When I was a kid I was allowed to fish in season for coarse fish on a couple of private trout lakes. They were teeming with rudd, perch and tench. I caught a Rudd of about 11 ounces and it was swallowed whole by at the time was to my eyes a huge perch. Looking back I guess it may have topped 2.5 lbs. I've caught a few on the fly, never tire of getting a stripey
