Adge Cutler
Is this another pop at the establishment or are you genuinely concerned you wont get to see penguins die. ? Edited November 7, 2016 by Adge Cutler

keg
Is this another pop at the establishment or are you genuinely concerned you wont get to see penguins die. ? Oh it's the Penguins, i'm black and white on that subject! It's a pop at no one in particluar. We just seem to be sanitising anything that seems to show the world in reality. The Mighty Prawn
I watched it, they did show the seabirds feasting on what I presume was dead penguin and one with blood on it, in a 45 minute show (discounting the making of) they covered a huge amount of material so don't think it was a cynical cover up rather than choosing what to give air time to? It also depends what the footage was like, if they saw these things but didn't have good coverage then it wouldn't make the show anyway
bluesj
I didn't see it and not sure what context it was in. If they (the bbc) made it clear penguins died but did not show it I don't really see a problem. I don't make people watch their horse die when its put down if they would rather not see it. Gunman
But Penguins are cute . OK to show other "ugly " animals killing each other .
digger
It was as good as I expected. The snakes v lizard was like a scene from a horror movie. I expect they had difficulty filming as it was let alone filming dead penguins in those seas. I swear the albatross chattering at the penguins wandering by was tv gold. One stopped and put his head to one side as if to say " no understand"
Wb123
Curses, I will have to trawl the dark web for tonights selection of penguin death clips. I'd just stocked up on baby lotion in anticipation of quite the bonanza. I must write to the director general of the BBC at once! oowee
Only reason not to show it is because the slot they have programmed is before the watershed aimed at a family audience.
chrisjpainter
er...this is redundant... I'm just watching it again and you do indeed see a load of albatrosses tucking into the carcass of a penguin, merrily tearing bits of flesh off Om nom nom Edited November 7, 2016 by chrisjpainter
