Walker570
and another in a trap I set because I thought they were coming in from a well wooded brook on the neighbours ground, was correct. This one was in the wood all of two hours before he sampled my peanuts 1037 That's nine coming in during the last four weeks. They really are on the move. Walker570
... and another one this morning. They really are on the move. This one was of interest. Firstly as I pulled it from the trap I thought , way to go, this is fat and very big, initially I thought it was a female but on flipping it over it proved to be a male but with no nuts evident. Now even in young squirrels the later are very prominent but there was not a vestige of this one ever having any. Being a 'capon' so to speak, I wonder if this resulted in it's size. Anyway my resident pair of buzzards are in for a good meal out if this one. 1051 Edited June 18, 2017 by Walker570
