Over the past couple of years ive been using these when storing my guns in the cabinet. I find them brilliant, saves any accidental dings getting guns in and out of the cabinet and they also are impregnated will an oil so protects as well. And no i dont sell these just extolling there virtues.

I use them on all of my guns. The biggest problem i have with them is when you want to use them on scoped rifles and pistol grip shotguns as they never seem to stretch enough.

I found some on ***bay and they were extra wide and stretched easily to 11" wide and went over scoped rifles very easily.

The problem is i now need a few more and cannot find them on ***bay anymore and no response from the seller. Unfortunately they did not have manufacturers tag on them so cannot search for them on the web.

Anybody out there found any that stretch that much?

I use Tubigrip, 10 meter roll's of it on the Bay for not a lot.

Put it over the Shotgun or Rifle and then double it back over, cut it off and get SHMBO to sew it over at one end and hem it at the other, you then have a protective sock the exact size you need it to be.

Gun is cleaned and wiped down prior to putting it away so no need for an oiled sock.

I use them on all my guns and take one out when its wet... this way all the time the gun is in the car after shooting its the sock drawing as much water out of the gun as possible (rather than sitting in a damp slip)

When the gun gets home its cleaned, dried then put in another (dry) sock for the cabinet.

I call them my gun sleeping bags lol

I also use remington
