muncher
Took my brother out today on some rape stubble and after a slow start we just got to 49 when the sky went black so a quick pick up with the crew before we got wet.

JDog
A fine selection of dogs. I heard reports of your day at regular intervals.
muncher
Yes JD, thought you were on to a good day and us but it might have been the weather conditions.
marsh man
All very nice looking and conditioned dogs , I prefer Black , but that is only my personal choice , nothing wrong with any coloured Lad , all fantastic dogs . Do you have them all in one hide , three in each or do you leave some in the motor. ?
muncher
No I don't like dogs in the hide they are trained to lay up either under a net or in cover and only come out when required ,4 belong to my brother ,two of my pups actually, and they are slowly being introduced to the game. ips
How'd you get them to stay put so long? My spaniel gets itchy feet😂 Yep, no way would my cocker lay about in or next to a hide. 😞
muncher
You need to be consistant , every time they move you have to take them back ,some learn quicker than others but in the end as long as you dont send them for every retrieve they will obey ,mine now go and look for their spot to lay up . JDog
I shot with Muncher last July and arrived after the others. We shot for several hours before attempting any picking up.I had never even seen a dog until Muncher and his brother whistled and a number of dogs ran out from under a willow bush where they had sat perfectly still until called.
