evolution380
Based in Nottingham J27 of M1 Currently using Hull Comp X 28g 7.5's If the spent cartridges and boxes are of use to anybody that is reloading please let me know, i'm going to start getting through a fair few carts and I'm happy to chuck all spent ones back in a box and keep them aside for collection or happy to meet someone nearby or whilst commuting. I will meet up and drop off the spent everytime I have a slab ready to go. Don't want anything for them but just seems a shame for them to be chucked in recycling if there a use to anybody and can make reloading a touch more cost effective? Can buy them cheaper than that from reloading companies and know what you're getting!
Imperfection
seems a shame for them to be chucked in recycling Here in Cambridgeshire, doing that will shut down the local recycling centre. When the operatives see spent cases (shotgun, pistol or rifle) they're deemed to be live and everyone gets a few hours off work! I saw it on Anglia news once. bakerboy
There is a pile of Cartridges at West London Shooting School, estimated number, 40/70 Million. At £10.00 for 50 that could be an earner for me , (40 million) does that work out at £8,000,000? Edited August 15, 2017 by bakerboy

pinfireman
Those at West London will be rusty, apart from the ones at the top of the heap! No use to anyone. I,m always on the lookout for the old type Remington RXP, Peters Blue magic, and Winchester AA cartridge cases.....the compression type, not tube. The mind boggles, seen an eBay advert selling at £4.50 for 20 and sold 72 sets can pretty much pay for the next 1000 cartridges Never knew this was a thing, maybe the dad has worn off? Apart from that shotgun cartridges cannot be recycled by the council recycling plants . They can only be recycled by specialist companies who put them through a chipping machine, then separate the metal with magnets Edited August 17, 2017 by Vince Green

I was told its a wanna be gang thing... by brandishing cartridges as wheel nut covers it signifies said car owner is bad.... in truth - his mum probably still makes his bed for him 😂
bakerboy
Sorry did not get to the West London on Friday but here is an old link from PW some 4 years ago.
