McSpredder
Used to see one of those at Tomintoul about 30 years ago. Well suited to the snowdrifts in that location. Wonder whether it still exists. But how do you get in? Two storey house, park it beside the bedroom window.

ferguson_tom
Lovely bit of kit, if i had the money spare it would be in my garage. I bet its not the fastest or most economical thing in the world though.

Vince Green
Realistically, how long would a set of tracks last on the road? It can only really go in a museum or on the show circuit by trailer unless somebody has very deep pockets Edited August 25, 2017 by Vince Green

39TDS
I bet it's a nightmare finding tyres for those 19" "easicleans" these days.
SxS
Will be interesting to see how much it goes for... and indeed whether there are two up for sale (or whether DM simply used stock photos). This one has been for sale for a good while and is off to the same auction: http://www.johnbrown4x4.com/current-stock/land-rover-series-2-109-cuthbertson . If memory serves correctly, it was originally advertised at a much higher price than the figures being touted by the Mail. I understand that the turning circle on these is even worse than a regular LWB!
four-wheel-drive
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4818990/amp/Rare-1958-Land-Rover-Cuthbertson-conversion-auctioned.html Its road legal too and tax exempt. Its not really of much use except as a motor museum exhibit so I would not expect it make to much.
