Unable to comment on the quality of his cartridges as I have never tried them.

But looking at the business model he is competing with many established businesses in the UK and EU some are very very large and all have established customers and they must therefore be able to buy in very large quantities their components and may be a wider range of components. This economy of scale must give them a better profit margin on all their product range from clays to game.

Now as a reloaded for many years you realise with the exception of the top end cartridges using wool wads or nickel plated shot or some other unique selling point their is very little if any difference in cost of manufacture of the budget clay, pigeon or game cartridges but a bigger higher price difference iin the shops compared to a basic clay cartridge for pigeon or game.

So is it not sensible to manufacture using virtually the same bits a cartridge you can sell for a significantly better profit?

The only issue I can see in this is that you have got to sell enough of them to stay in business but he looks to be able to do that, so good luck to him, if this works who knows in time we may even see the other manufactures having to reduce their prices to compete or force him out of business, time will tell.

George told me he would let me know when he had a fibre wadded 28 or 30 gram fibre wadded game load, after I asked for a couple of thousand. A year on, nothing heard. I won’t waste my time trying to deal with him again.

I must admit he seems to only appear on this site when touting his wares, and those wares seem to be the only ones he is interested in making........rather than those which some of his prospective customers want!

I've asked him about steel loads a few times and he's told me it's hard on the machines and he won't load it. He said you get the odd cut piece of lead shot as it goes through the loader and gets caught a steel shot pellet could cause damage and it's not worth it.

So don't think he will be loading steel anytime soon.

Surprised he ain't been on here touting his wares of late.

can you believe some customers havent a clue what they want?

i want #5and1/3 english shotsized, upto 16th /lb of so faster than yesteryear. but i want 17 cartridges, clear paper hulls, with woollyjumperwad giving ultimate knockdown of 100yards but doesnt destroy "burds" at 11ft, all in a 12gauge 2,5/6" for my uniquely chambered gun.

I was referring to my enquiry relating to fibre wad 2 1/2" quality game loads, pretty standard stuff really!.........Never even got a reply!
