ditchman Posted March 5, 2018 Author Report Share Posted March 5, 2018 got into the shed today...finally... ran the machine up centralised belt (for 10mins) mastic onto raiser to keep it in station marked with pen took it all apart punched marked out line cleaned it all off positioned raiser marked holes with hand drill drilled holes on drill press fitted raiser put machine back onto stand added belt ran up and centralised belt runs spot on..............fiddled about to see if i could get a plunge line...which i did freehand....no probs.....the belt is a fine belt so i couldnt be bothered to stand there for ages...it is a 150 grit finishing belt....so i will order up some cutting belts at 80-90 grit........ thats all for today....next operation is the mock up of the tilting cutting bed. we are getting there..
