Kevin Griffin Posted May 17, 2021 Report Share Posted May 17, 2021 Just bought my granddaughter (13) a Kofs sceptre youth. Highly recommended by the clay shoot we attend. It’s a 20 bore with 26” barrels. Seems quite light and with the short stock/short barrels appears well balanced. I certainly would not say the build is poor, I’ve owned rather more expensive guns with a worse build quality. The Turkish guns have improved vastly in recent times and I think they are going to eat into the established builder quite noticeably - a point that will not have escaped the establishment. jazydave Posted April 2 Report Share Posted April 2 Have a 28bore and 410 Kofs. I've had some nice Browning's, Berrettas ect over the years, but have got to admit I now like the little Kofs best. Of the budget Turkish small bores, I like Yildiz more than the rest. They cost a little more, but appear better made. I bought a used 410 about 3 years ago. It had done some work before I bought it and I’ve put about 4,000 cart’s through it. Still going strong. Very impressed with its quality.
