JRDS
Seriously tempted by one of these but they are choked 1/2 / 1/2 which for normal guns is fine for Steel but these state Lead Shot only. Can anyone explain why this is?

figgy
They were made to nominal bore for fiber wads and game shooting. Suppose they are just covering themselves by stating lead shot only, seems a bit daft to me. They do look and handle very nicely.
wymberley
If you're seriously tempted because it's a Browning and you like the look of it, then please ignore this post. But should it be the idea of the gun and its intended use which you have in mind, then finding one which is routinely made as standard for that use instead on converting a very good gun but one which a conversion might not suit and has possibly/probably been modified to cure a problem and also when considering the expenditure, I'd have a look at a Chapuis. Have to agree with the above though, they do look very nice.
Wingman
Temptation is a bad thing where guns are concerned... Went to AGL yesterday for a quick 50 birds in my lunch hour, was tempted by a S/H but virtually mint Miroku MK70 and after shooting it you can probably guess what happened! Fortunately Mrs. Wingman was at work so I was able to bring it home and tuck it away under the radar!
oldypigeonpopper
hello, nice wood and engraving but why half/half choke and lead shot only, oh and £4,000 plus, one of Brownings limited edition, would i buy one, !!!!!!!!
blackbird
It’s just a grade 6 325/425 with fixed chokes & a £4,000 price tag. Edited October 11, 2018 by blackbird

I can see why you'd say that, but I couldn't possibly comment. Obviously my period of lucid thought has come to an abrupt end.
