squirrel shooter
Hi I have a Pard 007, which would be the best IR out of the above to go with, both similar prices. Thanks in advance Edited January 10, 2019 by squirrel shooter
Dave-G
Apparently the SRX - with the variable power adjuster making it about £160 will beat anything into submission.
oowee
I am told that they both use the same laser. Another option using the same laser but different focus head is the sirius xt from irlightbuilds its a little heavier but the video shows it working to well over 1000m with the 4k and its cheaper at £125. I am assuming you have moded the Pard? You might be better of with an led torch. I use one on my Drone and ward 800 and they give well over 500 / 600m probably more on a clear night but I do not have the range to try it. squirrel shooter
Hi, I have not moded the pard it is completely standard, only just bought it. I have a sunranger IR but I have not yet used this beacuse I'm waiting for a replacement on/off switch for it as mine is damaged.
oowee
Un moded the sunnranger will out perform the pard I reckon. The laser stuff is good but i can't think you need so much range for the unit.

Michaelog
I am after buying a Pard Nv007 I have a night master Trend would this b ok to use with the Pard as I am new to night vision?
oldypigeonpopper
Hello, most I/R torches are suitable for the pard 007 you just need to buy the appropriate one to suite your range, that's spotting and shooting, the on board I/R is said to do 200 yards ? ok for air rifle and 22 L/R , but may not be sufficient to see the scopes reticule or cross hair, in my case I will use a TR 38 with up graded led, I am sure those PW members with HMR or 243s etc will be better suited with a SRX or similar torch, you can over do infra red which I think called white out? I started using night vision 20 years ago with a heath Robinson type add on, then tubed scopes, now look at what we can buy and use today has made night shooting, expensive yes but a pleasure to use,
