Hmmm??? That's where I have been going wrong, always done it the other way, now I know why my old handicraft/woodwork  teacher also went on about measure twice cut once.

Problem was I was brought up with a Granddaddy who used finger tip to elbow as 18inches and his span of little finger to thumb tip as 9 inches and width of his thum pad as 1 inch.

well ..........cut the slut in the blade...and i am at a standsill.......cause im afeared at doing the eat threat...all that work in doin the blad and i dont want to mess it up..........i have been tro the net and they have given different temps in the hardening process ...so a bit mor reseach is needed.....

aahhhh shucks you say the nicest of things....................

used a dremel cutting disc then chaned it for a diamond cylinder router...which i did by hand......had to practice first tho..
