Hi guys here are a few more pics of the rabbits being jointed how i like to have them for the smoker, im hoping to get the meat smoked tomorrow( not been able to do it due to the rain).

I will also be doing some pigeon breast (shot thanks to magman) and also some pheasant breast .

Just to answer your question New to the flock i do not soak the rabbits in brine i just smoke them as they are in this Brinkman hot smoker(in pic) over a pan of boiling water useing oak wood chip but i also like to use hickory and apple wood.

Will leave you some to try Rob(magman)

Will have more pics to follow tomorrow with thw meat smoked. yum, yum :lol:

What ammo was you using? I am having problems with mine.

Eley subs but i know what you mean i have just ordered one of the new mags (because that was causing me problems) and also a Volquartsen Target Hammer because it makes a hell of a difference from 10ftlb to 2ftlb.

Looks cracking. Well done, all the tools are there. You'll be eating like a lord.

Is that a raised pond behind the smoker? Fish starter?:lol:

Yep its my quarantine tank for my 2000 gallon koi pond as you can see i have some small japanese koi in quarantine for the large pond now.

garth,

Very nice setup. I use a little chief smoker but I am contomplaiting making one that will work on charcoal or hardwood so that I can take it packing with me. My other Idea is one that would fit on a colman stove.

I will have to put a couple pictures up of the raised koi and gold fish pond I built for my father. I will try to snap a couple this week.

You have some nice ideas there nttf.

I love my smoker and like experimenting with different things. I had a large charcoal one welded on the estate i use to work but it was that heavy it had to stay there that was a hot and cold smoker + barbecue.

Look forward to the koi pond photos.
