Blackbriar
My mother-in-law had a call like that - luckily for her, it was me who answered it........... I asked him to hang on for a minute, as there was someone at the door. When we came back from the supermarket two hours later, the ignorant swine had hung up ! Mr gen
3 or 4 years ago my son had the same thing only that time the man was saying he was from Microsoft, my son being fifteen, a bit naïve and having Asperger's gave in after the third or forth phone call explaining that his Dads computer was in danger of being infected by a virus and that I would be very grateful when I got home to find the he had allowed this guy to sort it. well the upshot of this was when I got home I found the command prompt at the bottom of the screen flashing saying this fella had copied all the hard drives. Nothing was missing and everything worked ok so a quick change to all the passwords was all that was needed but the same guy called the next day!!! this time my wife answered the phone, well the torrent of abuse that *** had to endure was quite something. he didn't call back.
