Miroku_Dave
Finally finished this one that’s been ongoing for weeks! ive made it for my mate who runs a company called Siberian Stoves so I wanted to keep it along the theme of his advertising. It’s good old 8670 steel, heat treated and tempered with a very complicated handle made of 11 different pieces! I tried to keep it as relevant as possible to Siberian Stoves, so... It’s Siberian Elm with English Walnut for the handle scales, lined with red and yellow G10 liners to represent the fire 🔥. It also has mosaic pins featuring a Siberian husky, these came all the way from a chap in Russia who makes custom pins, so there aren’t many like this! It also has a brass lanyard tube with a leather lanyard and a custom Siberian Husky Lanyard bead. This ones taken forever to make, mainly waiting for the custom parts but also the complex handle. At one point I accidentally glued it to the workbench and had to start again. I think it’s turned out pretty well though. I'm not sure why i have some small and some big font!?!?!
