I haven't shot clays in years but looking forward to having a try. My gun is fixed choke 1/2 & full. I thought of buying a slab of 8's and 9's. In Fiocchi TT1 12ga. Is this a good choice ? You might try some 9's on closer stuff with that full choke, but they might lack energy further out. I wouldn't want to be swapping cartridges on every stand, what a pain. Any thoughts welcomed. Thanks. You'll be fine with these … 9's for the close stuff, or full face out to 35-40 yards … 8's for edge on stuff at that distance.
