No - there wasn't - well not visibly anyway.  By contrast - there was a huge local spike in the spring following Cheltenham Gold Cup - and at that time Cheltenham for a period had one of the highest case rates in the country, so there seems to be evidence both ways.

What I think is fairly clear from what I have read is the the VAST majority of cases are from person to person transmission, not from surfaces, buildings etc.

If everybody could be trusted to stick rigidly to the rules we could go a lot further with saving the economy.

Agreed, but none of these things are 'easy'.  There are no magic solutions (unless a vaccine with very high success and long lasting comes along.  Now that might be magic!

Results are in and negative. Looks like I’m just ill.
