A mate of mine run a a flowers stall on local market. He has been told to close down. The stall next to him sells plants. He has been allowed to continue!

You think that is daft - try Wales!!!

Apparently from next week we have to carry identification on us and don't get us started on essential/non-essential!!!!

Your mate needs to sell the odd plant too then.

Does he need to ‘sell’ them? Borrow a couple of plants from the neighbour, put the price up by a number of times what the neighbour is charging, and carry on selling flowers, or are flowers the problem?

Can he not sell any pots/containers and wrapping that come with free flowers ? Not sure if this is kosher, but possibly a loophole ? Seen it before,,,, people on an allotment couldn't sell their excess veggies etc, but could sell boxes,,,, that conveniently came with free veggies etc 😊

Another wacky one. My gym is closed but I am still having 1-1 personal training sessions. My gym has an outside workstation area (photo below) but we are not allowed to use that. But my trainer can bring equipment out of the gym and I can workout using that. Exactly as explained by the council.

What they are saying is under the new rules - your identification will need to be checked for going into cafe's and restaurants under the rules... and you have to book them as well

For the old track and trace I guess. Personally I don't get why you would be going into cafe's and restaurants but then that's not my thing. Sort of common sense to keep out the way as much as you can

We won't be - my wife cares for a lady with life limiting disabilities 3 days a week as well as seeing to her parents of 80 & 87 - and even though we don't chant the government guidelines we keep  to ourselves limiting contact where we can, where we can't we do mask up and sanitize

I think that is the issue if folks held back a bit we wouldn't be in such a pickle. But then its easy for me to say because my idea of fun is to sit in a hedge with the dog lol. But for others its getting out and about and socializing espeacially the younger folks who think they are indestructible.

I guess I’m what most would call young and I do like going to the pub but I follow the rules too much if anything, slightly frustrating not being able to see my very limited friend group when raves of 700+ are going on completely ruining all the hard work most are doing!
