Walker570
So much for a promise that the lockdown would not be re newed after 2nd December. All but Cornwall will be put in as near as from 2nd Dec onwards but called Tier 2 and 3. almost from the Welsh Border to The Wash will be in 3. Huge swaths of open countryside put in lockdown because of high numbers tested in Cities, e.g. West Mids, Leicester. All we need now is for Boris to use smoke and mirrors when dealing with the EU and go belly up. I would not put it past him and don't get me onto Dr Doom Hancock. Dame Kate Howey said this week we really need a new Health Secretary. Edited November 26, 2020 by Walker570
AVB
Can’t say I’m surprised. He always said we would go back to the tier system. I’m not sure if there more granular way of deciding the areas though.
Mice!
I'm honestly happy they have said it's back to the tier system, my area of Lancashire is fine but twenty minutes away into East Lancs and things are far from it, if they tried doing it by boroughs it would be more of a mess than it is. Fisheruk
The trouble with fragmenting the tier system is that folk will just move about to find an area to suit them. These tiers don’t stop real vermin control. Edited November 26, 2020 by Fisheruk
WalkedUp
Yes, pretty much a lock down again. The fact that the nations have got hard CV-19 borders is a joke.
Raja Clavata
If it were a football match, and fans were allowed in, they'd all be singing "you don't know what you're doing"

I'm afraid it is a case of they can't win whatever they do.

They don't need to have an idea though, in the analogy that is not their job, but they have paid their money and expect a professional performance. It is the case that they can't win whatever they do but that is not a valid excuse for poor behaviour, just like saying they are better than the alternative is an equally poor argument. Vince Green
If people just stuck to the rules and didn't behave like complete idiots none of this would be necessary. so many critics but nobody yet has come up with workable alternative
