So much for a promise that the lockdown would not be re newed after 2nd December. All but Cornwall will be put in as near as from 2nd Dec onwards but called Tier 2 and 3.

almost from the Welsh Border to The Wash will be in 3. Huge swaths of open countryside put in lockdown because of high numbers tested in Cities, e.g. West Mids, Leicester.

All we need now is for Boris to use smoke and mirrors when dealing with the EU and go belly up. I would not put it past him and don't get me onto Dr Doom Hancock.

Dame Kate Howey said this week we really need a new Health Secretary.

If it were a football match, and fans were allowed in, they'd all be singing "you don't know what you're doing"

Yes, but those singing would have no idea if their idea would work either, and that's even if they have an idea.

I'm afraid it is a case of they can't win whatever they do.

They don't need to have an idea though, in the analogy that is not their job, but they have paid their money and expect a professional performance.

It is the case that they can't win whatever they do but that is not a valid excuse for poor behaviour, just like saying they are better than the alternative is an equally poor argument.
