Rob85
If it's the nice solid sliding action locking thingy you like about them, just save your cash and buy a Valmet đ

It was a good ( and lucky ) find; bit of a sleeper. It is choked full and full and I really enjoy using it on sporting layouts, and had a cracking day out with it at Coniston just prior to lockdown.  The Grouse butts was great fun; those birds were just smudges of dust! Huge smiles from me and mate as he just had to have a go too!  Brilliant fun! đ Edited January 18, 2021 by Scully
Scully
I should add, for clarification, that to the best of my knowledge the Krieghoff K32 is based on the Remington K32, and not the Remington 3200. The guns are very similar, but not the same.
figgy
The internals were modified by Kreighoff is my understanding. Now developed into its range of guns. Same shaped action block and sliding top lever. That's one very nice looking Remington Scilly đ

wacker
My K80 parcour is proofed for HP steel. As for the non chromed barrels. I wouldn't worry too much. The chambers are chromed but not the tubes. I use mine in all weathers. They do need a scrub and an oiled mop through them after a day in the field.
Scully
I wouldnât worry about non chromed barrels either; my Browning 325 wasnt, and it was out in all weathers, never came to any harm. There are thousands upon thousands of non chromed barrels out there, hundreds of years old and still giving good service.
Wylye
Not so long ago Krieghoff had complaints about spent cases not ejecting fully after firing. Eventually they started to chrome the chambers to get over this.  Some of the earlier K80s will still be suffering with this frustrating problem.
Smokersmith
Certainly one to be aware of .... my father had one on trial for a while and it suffered from this issue ... needless to say it went back. He bought a new one and it's not missed a beat.
Wylye
The cure for this is to put a light coating of grease or petroleum jelly in the chambers when you clean the gun. It works but its a bit of a faff.

Can anyone tell me if Krieghoff barrels come steel proofed please?   Standard steel should be no problem through your K-80 barrels wither stamped or not
