Scully
Is he still employed? Firearms charges on top of this, I doubt he’ll still be in work. 🤷♂️

Walker570
Should have gone down. This kind of behaviour blackens us all.
WalkedUp
Agree. Shouldn’t have been a suspended sentence.
rbrowning2
All that is bad with shooting looks to originates from game shooting, like also the recent dumping of shot game. has game shooting a future? should have locked him up. I think that reasoning is because the anti brigade target the bigger driven game shoots and subsequently get the media coverage should a very occasional idiot like this bloke get caught. As far as we know up to pres’, the recent footage of someone throwing carcasses into wherever, hasn’t been proved to have done anything illegal. If game shooting has no future due to the dumping of shot birds, then none of us have. Not every decoyer processes the pigeons he shoots, and I don’t know of anyone who doesn’t dump the corvids he shoots.
Dave-G
The blokes a cretin and made himself unemployable - but what of the legality of setting up a camera on someone's property - unless a court order granted a temporary licence for it? Do the RSPCA have a licence to spy on private property?

Do the RSPCA have a licence to spy on private property? This. The man was wrong but the evidence if obtained illegally should have been struck out. That's the problem with the UK vs the USA. In the USA if evidence is obtained as a result of an unlawful action then it is struck out under the doctrine "fruit of the poisoned tree". UNlike and I quote Wiki here "In the UK however, fruit of the poisonous tree doctrine is not recognized, as illegally obtained evidence is admissible in a court of law."
