Brittany is beautiful but it has a bit of history of being like  Yorkshire stunning but does tend to rain a bit !

Have you got kids ?

If so I would have a look at Castel Camping Domaine de Bel Air stopped there a few years ago

vacansoleil gives lots of campsites with reviews and pictures

there are others we have used we travel a bit further to near Royan  but we hire mobile homes ! If your interested in history the Normandy beaches are worth a visit!

do your homework and you won’t go too far wrong camping in France is usually very good.

This used to be a decent camp site, all be it we were caravanning, it been a good while since we have been so don't know if they still let tents on, https://www.camaret-sur-mer.fr/fr/tourisme/le-camping-municipal there is this over the back of the site if this interests you,  https://www.crozon-bretagne.com/tourisme/decouverte/camaret/musee-memorial-pen-hir.php. If your into sea fishing we used to catch some decent bass at dusk from Pen Hat beach at the back of the site. Most towns have municipal sites that are decent, we used to let my wife and my brothers wife have a look at the shower/toilet blocks first before we made the decision to stop🤣🤣.

Regular truck travel to the uk - really good if you have mislaid your passport  !
