Bigbob
Daughters new house has solar panels over the back of the roof and it seems pigeons have found it a ideal place to nest under them , I am thinking i just need a roofer and put chicken wire round the outside of the panels is it just that simple ?. ph5172
That’s what I would be doing. or the stuff you put in gutters. I should of thought with it being plastic it won’t scratch as much
oldypigeonpopper
Hello, not necessary a roofer maybe someone who would clear the nests and guttering of debris , you could hire a scaffold tower which is safer than a ladder, get it done now and see if they nest next year which then you could try a better approach Edited November 7, 2022 by oldypigeonpopper

discobob
Make sure that they don't drill through the panel surrounds to mount the birdproofing as this will invalidate the manufacturers warranty
