ShootingEgg
I know recently someone posted about customer service and UK not being great. Well I've just had a delivery of some harkila trousers, at size 46, they state they are my size 32" but they are very tight. So I called the company in question explained that I'd bought them and they are too tight, RMA label sent to my email while on the phone and they will swap them out no issue. So a big thumbs up for Ardmoor Ardmoor.co.uk Will be using them again for sure

Cosmicblue
That's good to hear - generally speaking I think UK customer service has improved a lot over the years are arguably one of the few positive things that social media/forums like this one has given us - nothing travels faster than bad news so companies have learned to nip the problem in the bud. A really good example of the risks of failing to acknowledge and fix an issue is on this very site - there was a thread running where someone had an issue with Longthorne Guns and posted the issue here - if you Google "Longthorne Guns issues" then on the 1st page of results is the thread for it. As I recall the issue was resolved but the evidence sits in Google for ages.
Westley
I think 'Customer Service' has been forced to improve since lockdown. Especially as the current trend of shopping 'on line' has seemingly become the normal shopping method. I know my Grandkids order clothing on line, buying 4 items all the same, apart from differing sizes. Trying them upon their arrival, then selecting the best fitting and returning three. A lot of this is due to the abnormal sizings that we now have to suffer. I am reluctant to buy any clothing on line, unless I have tried the SAME item on in store, to ascertain the ACTUAL size. I had a 28" waist and weighed 9.5 stone when I got married in 1973. I think my scales are over reading nowadays as they keep trying to hit 16 stone. Whereas my wife is still the petite size 8 she was then.

So a big thumbs up for Ardmoor Ardmoor.co.uk Will be using them again for sure I'm a 32" waist and went looking Deerhunter trousers this weekend past, ended up a size EU56/UK39 - went for a looser fit to stop ripping the middle out as I normally do! Bought fairly local larger RFD, Tannyoky Guns and Ammo, the guys are pretty good, plenty of choice and while high prices as the Deerhunter etc. are, no different/same as online and the comeback of locally bought. Good to see some proper service being given!
London Best
Amazing how many of us think we are still a 32” waist when really, now, we are 39”!

I'm sat in a pair of 32" pair of jeans. But the hunting trousers sit higher so over the belly more than waist. So have to allow for the Christmas feed hahaha
